Last bus home

It’s not like I’m a luddite, but I’ve always been slow to embrace the newest technology.  I really enjoy the tactility of a rotary phone, recieving letters in my actual mail box, and speaking to human beings rather than prompts.  It just seems so much easier than the alternative.

So it comes as no surprise that it has taken me this long to start a blog.  I mean, I did just recently aquire a cell phone and that’s not so bad.  Kind of convinient even.  I can hear you chuckle, but really, I’ve just never felt like my life was any more difficult due to my lack of gadgetry.  Not that blogging is a gadget, but it is a device in which to broadcast oneself.  And that in and of itself is worth this venture into unknown territory.  Even if my only guide is an automated prompt and any words of assurance are via email.
